Indian cricket team is ready to face against the neighbour country Bangladesh in their second semi-final of the ICC Champions Trophy 2017 on Thursday, 15th June at Edgbaston in Birmingham.
Indian captain Virat Kohli took to social media and uploaded a picture with team players on his Twitter account and he twitted “With the boys yesterday at our stopover from London to Birmingham.
Defending champions India have won in 2013 under the captaincy of MS Dhoni. Kohli’s troop started the campaign with a perfect manner when they smashed arch-rivals Pakistan by 124 runs (D/L Method) but lost the plan after the match defeat against Sri Lanka by 6 wickets chasing the target of 322 runs.
The Blue Men team were locked in a do-or-die condition against South Africa in the third and last group games. As both the team came into the game with a win and loss under their belt and a win.
India clutched an unbelievable win by 8 wickets against South Africa and placed in the semi-final stage.
On Thursday, India will face against Bangladesh, who defeated New Zealand in their respective last group game to secure a place in the semi-final of the Champions Trophy 2017.
Bangladesh have shared the point with Australia after the match was washed away due to non-stop rain but lost to hosts England in the opening match.
The two sides who have registered a semi-final berth are England and Pakistan. The two teams will lock horns with each other on Wednesday in Cardiff.
