Bollywood veteran actor Om Puri passed away on Friday morning in Mumbai; he was found death at his home. He age was 66 year. Director started Pandit was a close friend of the actor, who first confirmed the sad news of his death on Twitter.
As per the reports, Puri returned home last night after a shoot and his doorbell went unanswered, following which his driver raised the alarm.
An actor has a quality, who has worked numerous in Indian films across various languages, like Hollywood, British films Pakistani, etc. He made his film debut in the year 1976 in Marathi film Ghashiram Kotwal which directed by K. Hariharan and Mani Kaul. In the year 1999, the actor acted in a Kannada movie A.K 47 as a strict police officer who keeps the city as safe. This film became a great commercial hit.
He was born in Ambala at Haryana to a Punjabi family, his father used to work in the railways and also in Indian Army. He had no birth certificate and also no records, his mother told that he was born two days after Dussehra festival. He started to began schooling, and his uncle gave his death of birth on 9 March 1950 as his official birthday.
Friday morning, his friends and colleagues were shocked. Honors for the actor started flowing immediately after the news of his heart attack. The actor who has first tweeted on Twitter of his death is Anupam Kher, Aamir Khan, Soni Razdan, Mahesh Bhatt, Boman Irani.
