The Indian Premier League 2018 schedule has been declared which will start from 7th April to 31st May 2018. However this year IPL Auction make a few shocked with Ben Stokes appears as the most expensive player in the auction for second year in a row.

- Ben Stokes
Ben Stokes was chosen by the Rajasthan Royals at a huge price of Rs 12.5 cr. As Stokes was break-up for a record price of Rs 14.5 cr in the last season of the Indian Premier League 2017.

Earlier, Jaydev Unadkat played for Pune Supergiant in the 11th edition 2017. However this year bagged a huge of Rs 11.5 crore from Rajasthan Royals in the first big buy in 2 day of the auction 2018. Unadkat is one of the most expensive players from Indian.
- KL Rahul
KL Rahulwho touches the double figure on Day 1 of the auction 2018 at Rs 11 crore. Rahul was bought by the Kings XI Punjab for the IPL 2018.
- Manish Pandey
Earlier Manish Pandey has represented for Kolkata Knight Riders and Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League. But this season Pandey has joined the most expensive players in the IPL 2018 bought by Sunrisers Hyderabed for Rs 11 crore on day 1 of the auction 2018.
- Chris Lynn
In last edition the Australian batsman Chris Lynn has represented for Kolkata Knight Riders. However this season he was bought for a huge sum of Rs 9.6 crore and will play for same team KKR.
- Mitchell Starc
Mitchell Starc, the Australian cricketer, who also bought for Kolkata Kight Riders at Rs 9.4 crore and also the lucky day of the auction 2018.
- Glenn Maxwell

Team Mumbai Indian bought Krunal Pandya with Rs 8.8 crore as a side player. Both Krunal Pandya and Hardik Pandya will play for Mumbai Indians in this season of the Indian Premier League 2018.

Kedar Jadhav, Indian all-rounder, bagged by Chennai Super Kings for Rs 7.8 crore which will led by MS Dhoni in the edition 2018 of the Indian Premier League.
- Ravichandran Ashwin
Ravichandran Ashwin, Indian spinner, was bagged by Kings XI Punjab for Rs 7.6 crore. This 11th edition Ashwin will see with yellow jersey in the IPL 2018.
