Brazil coach Tite feels that Philippe Coutinho would fit perfectly at Barcelona and also the midfielder will leave Liverpool this summer as he will join the Catalan giants.

According to the Xinhua news agency reports, Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp has said that the Brazilian is not for sale however, Barcelona is likely to test the Red’s resolve by making an eye-watering offer in the coming weeks.


When asked by Brazilian news portal Uol, coach Tite said, “I’m talking hypothetically, let’s make that clear. There are Sergio Busquets and two creators: Ivan Rakitic and Andres Iniesta, who are the team’s thinkers.”

“Coutinho could play in that role. He is an ideal player for Barcelona. I don’t want to pretentiously give my opinion about Barcelona. But who doesn’t want a player like Coutinho, with that magic, that capacity to intervene and create, change the rhythm, provide triangulation and construct.”


Brazilian coach Tite said that chemistry of Coutinho with Barcelona forwarded and Brazil national teammate Neymar would be added benefit for the Blaugrana.

Tite said “They complement each other tactically. There was a goal (for Brazil against Paraguay) which serves as an example. It involved Neymar on the left, Coutinho floating in the middle. Then the ball got to Marcelo and he scored. It summed up how effective they can be together.”

Retired French footballer Zinedine Zidane announced that leading Real Madrid to their first La Liga in five years and also 33rd overall is one of the joyful days for his impressive sporting career.

Real Madrid defeated Malaga at 2-0 on the final day of the La Liga season on Sunday to cover three points of Barcelona.

Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino said that there is no option Harry Kane will be certified to leave club Tottenham after his “special” striker’s four-goal attack in the 6-1 beat of Leicester.

Barcelona manager Luis Enrique has announced on Wednesday that he will leave as manager of Barcelona when his agreement expires at the end of the season.

He made a shocking announcement stepping down as manager following the team win 6-1 against Sporting Gijon in the Spanish League.

He has been continuously asked whether he would perform to the club further than current campaign however he refused to respond.

On Wednesday, Enrique said in post-match news conference “I need to rest. I won’t be the coach of Barcelona next season. It was a very difficult decision for me, very well-thought out.”

“The reason clearly had to do with the way of life I need to have in this profession, constantly having to find solutions, constantly trying to improve my team. That means very little time to rest, very little time to disconnect. After this season it will be good for me to get some rest.”


The decision of stepping down reports was first given to the player when they are in the locker room after the match at Camp Nou.

The 28-year-old Barcelona midfielder Ivan Rakitic said that “He told us about the decision and we have to accept it. We want to finish the season with victories and enjoy what’s left of it.”

Enrique said to the club during the pre-season, he was considering not to come back after his agreement expired at the end of this season. “I would like to thank the club for all the confidence that it had in me throughout my years here, both as a player and as a coach.”
